WR Allenzae Staggers is signed by Redskins to 90-man roster

Against the backdrop of releasing Orlando Scandrick before their second preseason match, the Washington Redskins came up with an open spot on their 90-man roster. The squad didn’t elect to add a player before their Thursday night match versus the Jets. It was a rational move because the sportsman wouldn’t have been willing to play. Nevertheless, on Saturday they made a move for the purpose of adding depth to their roster.

Some folks actually expect the squad to have added a running back to the roster amid traumas of such players as Byron Marshall, Samaje Perine and Derrius Guice the Redskins decided to add a sportsman at another position. As follows from some sources, the squad signed Allenzae Staggers to the roster with the aim of providing more depth at receiver.

It’s not probable that the player will do a lot for the Washington Redskins, and there’s a low likelihood of making the practice squad. What’s more 8 receivers leave him behind on the squad’s depth chart.
