One of the key events of the recent joint exercises between the New York Jets and the Washington Redskins that took place in Richmond were a series of clashes at the line of scrimmage. Perhaps, the most thrilling battle was between two guys sharing one surname – Williams. These were the Redskins offensive tackle named Trent Williams and the Jets defensive end Leonard Williams.
Evidently, in both 11-on-11 exercises as well as one-on-one drills, the four-year defensive lineman for the Green and White was suppressed by the six-time Pro Bowl left tackle for the Burgundy and Gold.
In spite of the fact, lots of spectators who came to the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center rooted for the ex-Oklahoma stand out in his battle with the ex- Southern California defensive player, everybody agreed that both sportsmen demonstrated their best fighting skills.
