Patriots’ 41-year-old quarterback handles sore back

It has been already reported that Tom Brady has to handle a minor trauma. The Patriots’ 41-year-old quarterback was deprived of an opportunity to participate in the team’s preseason opener versus the Washington Redskins on Thursday. The reason was his sore back. That’s what the NFL Network informed. The reported actually clarified that the trauma isn’t serious enough to generate worries within the team or fans.

In training camp, the player’s workload has been lighter, as follows from a report from Boston.com. Last Friday and Saturday the player didn’t take part in practice, according to the report says.

The team came up with a substitute – Brian Hoyer became their new temporary quarterback. For 144 yards on pass attempts, he appeared to be 16 for 23. In the team’s 26-17 win snaps were also taken by   Danny Etling.

On August 16, the Patriots are going to face off with the Eagles in their second preseason match. On September 9, in Week 1 action they will take on the Texans.
