Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was assured that his shoulder trauma, which forced him out of Thursday’s preseason match versus the New England Patriots turned out to be minor.
Well, further tests on the player’s strained shoulder confirmed what he felt from the very beginning – his trauma isn’t serious, so he can count on a short recovery.
The sportsman got injured in the second quarter. Eventually, his throwing arm was hit by Patriots player Adrian Clayborn. Pain made him recoil. He grabbed his arm close to the elbow as well as shoulder area.
The Eagles are going to focus on ensuring that the player is healthy enough for the beginning of the regular season. Nick is expected to complete his rehab from LCL and ACL.
Philadelphia has been quite optimistic about Wentz who’s completely ready for Week 1. However, they also want to ensure that Nick Foles is able to play if required.
